Fairground Organ 'The Lamb'

This organ is the flagship of the collection, a bright and rather brash traditional fairground organ with a repertoire of traditional and more modern music.

The LAMB has 65 keys and plays from the traditional perforated cardboard music. It was built in more recent times by David Bennion and is a popular attraction and all the shows it attends.

For the enthusiast, it has 22 melody notes, 11 accompaniment and 8 bass, as well as a counter melody section of  12 notes, played by cello pipes. The melody has three registers, violin, bourdon and glockenspiel and there are bass and side drums and two wood blocks.
