Other Organs in the collection

Miniature street organ De Culembourg

De Culembourg

De Culembourg is a fully functional 50 key Dutch street organ or Draaiorgel and plays from the

standard cardboard book music. However, the organ is very compact and therefore ideal for inside

locations such as shopping centres. It is mounted on wheels and therefore can be easily moved

around.

The 80 key decap organ

This Decap organ from Frans Decap of Herentals was imported from an American collector and had

no music and did not function as the original electronic system had failed. A Hammond organ has

been installed and the organ now plays on the 80 key Mortier scale so the books are

interchangeable with the Venus organ.

The Decap 80 key pipe organ

This organ was once in the ownership of Mr Webster of Lancashire and formerly in the

Leyland museum of commercial transport.

It was converted to it's present state by Frans Decap or Herentals, but contains parts which

are Mortier and others.

Albert Decap 105 key organ Napoleon

Once the pride of one of the top dancing cafe's on the Holland Belgium border, this organ fell into

disuse and was used for parts, the remains being acquired by Norman a few years ago.

The organ is under restoration and is now playing, though much needs to be done, including

finding matching Crucianelli accordions

Draaiorgel De Watermolen 43 keys

De Watermolen was built by Karel Struis of the Perlee family and it was he that made the

bourdon pipes that feature on the famous Dutch organ De Arabier. This organ too has an amazing

sound for such a small organ. It was once in the Corin collection in Cornwall
